What do you think of the information we provide about the new pension scheme?

Over 1,000 people took part in our digital survey in September. Thank you for your participation! The aim of the survey was to find out whether we have properly informed you about the new pension scheme: what is changing and what remains the same? For the most part, that goal has been achieved. Indeed, the results show that most survey participants are aware of what will and will not change under the new pension scheme. The details are still somewhat less known. This is why we will be informing you more specifically in the coming period until the switchover to the new pension scheme on 1 July 2026. One way we will do this is by regularly sending out informative e-mails. That way, you will know exactly what the transfer means for your pension.

Some statistics:

  • 62% are aware that our pension scheme is going to change, but do not yet know exactly how.
  • In fact, 35% have already looked into this and are fairly well aware of what will be changing.
  • 56% do not know that the survivor's pension (for your partner/children) will change under the new scheme for participants who accrue pension with us.
  • 69% are aware that the (expected) pension will soon move more in line with investments.
  • Most participants say they prefer to be informed about the new pension scheme by e-mail. Being informed by personal letter is in second place and through the Life & Pension magazine is in third place.
